Offset printing process of color box
Offset printing is the most mature printing method at present, and occupies the first position in packaging printing. The graphic part and the blank part of the printing plate have no high and low points, almost in the same plane, printing first to the plate with water, and then to the plate for ink, using the principle of ink repulsion printing. Its plate making process is simple, low cost, high production efficiency, beautiful pattern, stable quality. But offset printing is not suitable for linkage line production, low efficiency.
There are two main ways to use offset printing for color boxes. One is to print directly on the board, and the other is to print the face paper first, and then mount the opposite paper. Among them, indirect printing is the pre-printing of single paper, which has higher printing quality. After printing, surface decoration such as glazing and film coating can also be carried out, which can greatly improve the appearance of color box. It has always occupied a major position in the sales and packaging of high-end products. But mounting processing efficiency is low.
Direct printing is mainly for micro corrugated products. This method is widely used in foreign markets and has been relatively mature. Improved offset printing press can be used in production, such as Man Roland 900 large-format printing press can be competent for direct printing of corrugated board. The printing method can effectively ensure the formability of the color box and achieve exquisite printing effect under the condition of the loss of limited cardboard strength. But the equipment input cost is still relatively high.
