Over-packaging need to slim down

In recent years, the phenomenon of excessive packaging has emerged in endlessly. Especially during the festival, all kinds of gift bags, gift boxes and other packaging is gorgeous and complicated, and consumers find that under the packaging of layers of "nesting dolls", the goods themselves only account for a small part.

Why is excessive packaging so common? It has to do with the concept of consumption. Some people believe that the more luxurious the package, the more it reflects the mind. Some businesses are seizing this kind of consumer psychology and raising their prices through luxury packaging. In addition, poor competition in some industries is also an important reason for excessive packaging. In order to pursue greater profit space, some merchants make a big deal on packaging and pass on the cost to consumers.

For those who are keen on "face-saving projects", the government's strict supervision and punishment measures are undoubtedly a good medicine.

The new national standard and the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests and other laws and regulations clearly prohibit the production and sale of excessively packaged goods, and severely crack down on illegal acts such as excessive packaging.

Over-packaging

Under the guidance of policies and market supervision, businesses should shift the focus of their work back to the product itself, and win more consumer recognition by improving the "inside" of the product.

The implementation of the new national standard is conducive to reducing the burden on consumers, and at the same time, it will also reduce the waste of resources caused by excessive packaging.

Relevant departments should improve the policy incentive mechanism, encourage and guide enterprises to develop more green packaging methods, so that packaging can achieve lightweight and recyclable.
