How to judge the test and quality effect of Carton compressive strength testing machine


1) The compressive strength of corrugated box is the maximum load and deformation that can be sustained until the box is damaged under the condition of even dynamic pressure applied by the pressure testing machine.

3) The compressive strength of the carton is divided into the effective value and the final value. During the compression test, the change of the force value is sometimes from slow to fast to the breakdown point directly, and sometimes from smooth to the breakdown point. Long-term compression test shows that the change of the force value sometimes has a certain cushioning, that is, when the force value and the deformation amount increase to a certain extent, the force stop and the deformation amount continue to increase, after a period of time, the force value continues to increase until the collapse point of the carton. The force before the buffer can be called the effective force, and the deformation before the buffer can be called the effective deformation. After cushioning, although the force can continue to increase, but the carton has begun to deform, can not meet the use requirements, so determine the carton compressive strength should be the effective value of the compressive test.

 4) in general, the deformation of three-layer box is below 10mm, that of three-layer box is below 7mm, that of three-layer box is below 9mm, that of five-layer box is below 18mm, and that of three-layer box is below 7mm, that of three-layer box is below 9mm, that of five-layer box is below 18mm.


 5) the better the quality of the carton, the higher the effective value of the compressive strength, and the smaller the deviation between the effective value and the final value. The analysis of corrugated box compressive strength is usually expressed by the average value of several experiments (≥3) . The smaller the deviation between each experimental data, the more stable the compressive performance of the box. 


We can further analyze the quality of the carton through the changing process of force value and deformation quantity, combined with various factors that affect the compression resistance of the carton.
